On July 6, 2025, the Rotary Club of City of General Trias Prime rolled out a heartwarming
Feeding Program for underprivileged children at the Islaman Compound in Barangay Tejero,
General Trias, Cavite. With over 100 young beneficiaries, the initiative brought not only
nourishment but also joy and encouragement to families facing economic hardship.
Spearheaded by Charter President Emer Jason R. Grepo, the program offered nutritious meals
and a moment of respite for children who are often impacted by poverty. More than just a
meal, it was a reminder that they are seen, valued, and supported.
This compassionate outreach underscores the Club’s steadfast commitment to “Service Above
Self” and its advocacy for child welfare and community upliftment. As part of Rotary
International’s mission, the project exemplifies how simple acts of kindness can spark hope and
build a foundation for a better, healthier future for all.
