On July 1, 2025, the Rotary Club of Kawit Kalayaan, under the leadership of United Chosen

President Ma. Charity I. Navarro, partnered with Jose Rizal Elementary School to launch a

meaningful Feeding Program in celebration of Nutrition Month. Held on the school grounds, the

initiative provided nutritious meals to 300 elementary students, promoting health and wellness

as the new school year begins.

This collaborative effort emphasized the importance of proper nutrition in children’s physical

and mental development. Beyond simply feeding the students, the program aimed to instill the

value of healthy eating habits and community care.

The success of the event highlighted the synergy between educators and Rotarians in

addressing childhood hunger and malnutrition. The Rotary Club of Kawit Kalayaan continues to

uphold its mission of service above self by actively engaging in projects that improve lives and

build stronger, healthier communities—one meal, one child at a time.
